Crosscutters Hosting World Series Party
The Williamsport Crosscutters of the New York-Penn League, are hosting a World Series party for game one on Wednesday night.
The Crosscutters are located in Williamsport, PA and just finished their second season as the Phillies Single-A affiliate.
The two teams signed a two-year player development contract in June to extend the agreement through the 2010 series.
There is a $2 cover charge to enter the party, which will include Phillies Trivia, raffles, the opportunity to shop for baseball cards and memorabilia and free prize giveaways each inning.
Some of the prizes are a Ryan Howard replica jersey, Phillies autographed items and a baseball signed by Goose Gossage.
There will be free snacks provided by the host hotel, The Genetti. Their full appetizer menu and cash bar will be open for service as well.
